Question about the Dispute Forms...

I went through the dispute forms (from the Suze package) after first pulling my scores, and did dispute letters for TU and EQ.  I naturally did the automatic online dispute for EX since that was what was offered.

I assumed that the TU and EQ dispute forms were to be printed out and mailed, and nothing was submitted electronically, however when I pull up my TC reports, there are accounts showing as disputed on TU and EQ even though I never mailed them in, I just saved copies of the letters that were generated by the form.

Now I'm confused.

I want to dispute 2 accounts with TU and EQ, however if I have disputes running already I want to wait until those finish up.

Any one know about this for sure?

Thanks in advance (again),
Ja' Net

Re: Question about the Dispute Forms...

Yeah, I didn't think they did, but TrueCredit is showing a bunch of stuff as being disputed across the board even though I didn't dispute with anyone but EX (since theirs was the auto online submission.) It's just strange...

Thanks for the response Smiley Happy

Re: Question about the Dispute Forms...

modernsurrender, yes you are correct. You should not dispute an item that is already IN dispute, until you have received a written response from the CRA in the mail.

It may take up to 30 days for them to respond to your request. That is given by law.

Just be patient, you will receive the letter.

Hope that helps. Smiley Happy

Re: Question about the Dispute Forms...

Yeah, That part I understand hehe

The part I'm confused about is that I've only disputed with EX (online) and no one else, but TrueCredit shows disputes being filed with ALL THREE.  Now I have things I want to dispute with the other two but am afraid to lol

Technically it's past the 30 days from when I filed with EX and I heard from them already, so I'm just gonna hang out and wait for the 45 day mark to hit and see if the disputes with the other two (that I didn't even file?) go away on TrueCredit so I CAN dispute without being worried.

I've waited this long already, what's another couple weeks haha
I'll just print up my letters, get my supporting letters together and wait some more lol

Thank ya Again Sylvia Smiley Happy
