You said you received an alert last week that SW has detected a change to your FICO score or Report, and when you logged in, SW showed you an EQ FICO of 603. In this case SW worked, because you had in fact did have a score drop and went below your target score, the alert may have been a bit late because you said you freaked and pulled a Score Power and it showed your current EQ FICO @ 644, now if you had not purchased that Score Power report that day and changed your target score to the 603, I'm willing to bet that SW would have sent you another alert within a 7-10 day period saying the same thing (SW has detected a change to your FICO score or Report) and it would have shown you your score of 644.
Let me first ask what you initially had your "target" score set to, was it the 644 you mentioned later in your reply, and was your score 644 before the drop to 603?
If your "target" score was set to 644 initially and your score was 644 and you received an alert that SW has detected a change to your score or report and when you logged in, your score had in fact changed (dropped to 603) then you purchased a current Power Report, that showed your EQ FICO @ 644, and if your target score was set @ 644, SW would have no reason to send you an alert because you had pulled a current report showing your score of 644 which is what your target score was set at.
I hope that makes sense to you?
It's always best to keep your "target score" set to your exact current EQ FICO that you see each time you log into SW, this way SW will alert you of any changes to your score.
But the question is, was your EQ FICO 644 before the drop to 603, and was your target score set to 644 before the drop to 603?
For some SW Members, SW runs slower and the alerts are delayed (for what reasons I do not know) I use SW and an EQ monitoring service, EQ always sends the alert first, but SW is always just a few hours behind my EQ alerts (which is to be expected) I have had SW for 10 months now, and for me SW has always been right on point, I may be one of the lucky people that SW works perfectly for.
Either way, I do understand your frustration, and I agree that SW should have sent the alert that your score had dropped below your target score sooner, but once you purchased your current Score Power and it showed your score of 644 which was what your target score was set at, SW would have no reason to send you another alert because your current score of 644 was what your target score was.
After reading my reply over, it is a bit redundant, but I'm am only trying to give you a comprehensive answer to your question, I hope my reply helps, and does not confuse you even more.
Best of Luck.
@Mustang,
You're probably one of the lucky few. ![]()
The product is fine but does run about 4 days behind the other two methods I use to monitor score changes. Based upon everything read here, it's pretty much meeting my expectations.
I do seem to read quite a few threads where people either use up or purchase new Score Power reports out of frustration. Probably just a coincidence. ![]()

I purposely left my target score as 604 because I wanted to see how long it would take before I received an alert that it went up to 644. My target score initially was 644 received the alert that the score dropped to 604. I changed the target score to 604. I received the update yesterday that there were no updates even though I know that my score went back up to 644. Make sense?n
Oh OK, so you did change your target score to 604 from 644 after you logged in and saw your score had dropped.
I thought you meant you left it at 644, purchased a new report showing your score of 644 and expected an alert that your score went up, my mistake, sorry about that.
I'm somewhat at a loss as to why SW sent you an alert yesterday when your target score is set at 604 and your EQ has gone back up to 644 and the alert said there were no changes.
I just do not have the answer to this one, either way, I'd probably go ahead and reset your target score to 644 again, and move forward, what's done is done, hopefully SW will get it's act together for you from here on out.

Isn't this exactly what is supposed to happen when you set your current score to your goal score? Then when your score changes you get the alert...............SW monitors for changes to the score in addition to changes to the reports ???
