SW...does it alert for.....

Ok, Im set to have three Unauth Inq from Quicken come off (1 each Bureau) from 3/9/08 and 1 Unauth Inq from my idiot Credit Bureau (EQ Only) from 6/22/07 within the next 24 hours....will this trigger an alert from SW?  I  think the pulls from 3/9/08 might change my score, but the 6/22/07 one is probably too old.....just curious

They are both still affecting your score.  The one from 6/22/07 wouldn't stop affecting your score until 6/22/08, so if it is deleted early along with the one from March, your score may go up, depending on how many other inquiries you have.

If you get a SW alert, it will be for the score change, not for the dropping inquries.

Thanks cheddar...its just so darn confusing sometimes as to what things trigger what...like a new inq shows up as an alert ...was hoping the same for a removed one!

Re: SW...does it alert for.....

Don't know if this will help, but this is from the ScoreWatch description page:

Credit Monitoring

* See your up-to-date FICO® score every time you receive an alert of a change to your Equifax credit report
* Get an alert when your FICO® score changes enough to qualify you for a better mortgage, auto, or home equity loan rate.
* Set a target FICO® score and receive an alert when you reach it.

* Your Equifax credit report is monitored daily for:
o Newly opened accounts
o Inquiries from applications for new credit
o Increases in account balances
o Changes in account status, such as a missed payment
o New activity on accounts that were inactive
o Newly listed public records, such as bankruptcies, court judgments, and tax liens
o Newly listed collection company records
o Changes to public records and collection company records
o Changes to the name listed on your credit report
o New addresses or phone numbers

Believe me, I have to go back and check this page all the ding-dang time! Smiley Tongue
* Credit is a wonderful servant, but a terrible master. * Who's the boss --you or your credit?
