Based on the previous product, it updates after the new report. Thus, it will update quarterly. I never found the information to be useless in between. I used by Excel sheet to track balances and played with the simulator for each scenario. Now that I no longer have student loans it pretty much gives the scenario for paying down cards and nothing else. But it's still useful in determining what can happen in 3 mos, 6 mos, etc.
