Score Watch Alert Issue

To All Score Watch Subscribers,

We are currently experiencing an issue with the delivery of Score Watch alerts to subscribers. As a result, alerts have not been sent out to any Score Watch subscribers for approximately the past 10 days. Equifax and myFICO have been working to resolve the situation and we expect a solution within the next couple of days.

If you believe you should have received an alert during this time but haven't, it may be due to this situation. Once resolved, all backlogged alerts will be sent out, so there's no need to notify myFICO that you may have been affected.

Updates will be provided here in the Forums as they become available. We regret this delay and very much appreciate your patience.

Re: Score Watch Alert Issue

Score Watch alerts are being sent again; although, it may take a few days for all of the alerts generated over the past couple of weeks to be sent out.

Thanks again to all of you Score Watch subscribers for hanging in there with us!

Re: Score Watch Alert Issue

I haven't received a score update since the 4th of July. Is this normal? From everything I've read i should be receiving updates about every 7-10 days. If I'm not going to receive updates then I'm just going to cancel my myfico account. Please let me know what's going on with this. I know that new things have been added since the 4th.

Thanks,

John Bell

Re: Score Watch Alert Issue

It is normal if nothing is happening on your EQ report. Do you have any added accounts, inquiries, significant balance increases, account changes, etc.?

I looked into my history for this month and received 3 alerts. One was for an inquiry which came 1 day after apping with Penfed. And two were for balance increases on 2 of my CCs. Had I not app'd and had I PIF those 2 CCs like I should have then I wouldn't have received any alerts.

Welcome to the FICO Forums, administartor!

It appears you were never successfully enrolled in Score Watch after the initial 30 day free trial due to a billing issue. You may want to contact myFICO customer service if you have any further questions. Or just check your myFICO member page to be sure you have the right credit card info and reorder Score Watch.  Smiley Happy

Re: Score Watch Alert Issue

My score alerts are rediculously late.  I get the cc statement and pay if off before i get a score alert showing an increase in balance.  Makes me wonder what im paying for

Are you sure you have your balance increase settings right? ALL balance increases don't necessarily trigger alerts. They have to increase by a minimum amount that you set.

Barry,   I just received an alert that my score went down...

Barry,

I just received an alert that my score went down 23 points on a day that there were no alerts to my credit file. I pulled my Equifax report today in response to the alert, and nothing has changed. I've actually had a couple of revolving account balances DECREASE, one of which were paid off. No new accounts, no public record, no new collections, etc. What could be going on?

Starting Score: 467 EQ 514 TU 583 EX
Current Score: 531 EQ 567 TU 601 EX
Goal Score: EQ 742 TU 742 EX 742

Hard to tell from the alert alone, Amleigh. Since the date of your last EQ report was 9/30, before the score drop, we've added a free report to your Score Watch subscription so you can have an updated report to compare with that earlier report. Hopefully, you'll be able to see what caused the score drop. If not, reply back here and we'll see what we can find out.
