Score Watch Alert & Credt Alerts

I've received numerous credit score increases and was notified by Score Watch. What I would like to know is why nothing is reported within the "Credit Alerts" tab? Specifically, my balances have decreased to ZERO and the alerts tab show nothing. Thanks in advance for your response!

SW does not send alerts for balance decreases. If you go to the Settings tab on the SW page, it will show you a list of the items that will trigger a SW alert. The settings on some items can be changed.

IMO - since balance decreases are almost always a good thing, it's not absolutely necessary to to get an alert every time a balance decreases - a balance decrease may not always change your score. If it does affect your score, you're getting the score change alert, so you are being alerted about a balance decrease in a roundabout way. If it doesn't change your score, an alert really isn't necessary - apparently nothing bad happened.  Imagine how annoying credit alerts could get if you had 20 accounts with balances that you were paying on.....
