Scorewatch Question

Is score watch supposed to send you an email if there is no change in your credit score? I have not received anything from scorewatch. Check my spam folders and just not sure if it's working. I set my score alert to my current score. Am I doing something wrong? Does it take more than a week to get an email or an alert?

I started SW on Nov 5 and havent received any alerts..not that I expected too. However, I did make a major payment on my CC,

so hopefully in a few weeks, my score will go up a bit....did you check out the sticky by Barry on Scorewatch...it tells you about

what to expect and what not to expect.  I dont believe, and I may be wrong, but I dont think you will get an email if the score

hasn't changed.

I did check it out. I should have an inquiry and a new account show up this month. So it should go down or up a little. Based on all the issues I've read I just don't think it's a solid product and not sure I want to keep paying for something if it's not going to work.

We should also get an email saying there was no change with your score.

Sorry, but there's no alert for lack of a score change. You should receive an alert for the inquiry, however, assuming it was from EQ, and for the new account -- whether a score change results or not. (Keep in mind that all changes to your credit report don't necessarily result in score changes)

Also, it looks like you have your target score set to your latest score, so you're doing the right thing if you want to be alerted to your next score change. Good luck!
