Do you have both the Equifax and myFICO version of Scorewatch? That seems redundant. They are basically the same product, although the myFICO version will tell you about some oddball things like score bucket changes that you won't get from EQ.
myFICO, including Scorewatch, has to wait on the 3 CRA's (credit bureaus) to send info over, so there is a built-in delay. Additionally, SW checks more frequently for adverse info (increased balances, new addresses, new inquiries) than it does for changes that help your score. In other words, it's looking out for your credit safety first, and then for score improvement.
I have gotten Scorewatch alerts on every day of the week, including weekends. For a while, it seemed to go into a coma and I was ready to cancel it, but then it started sending alerts again, and it told me of some things that I wouldn't have figured out otherwise.
