I checked my EQ report through a free subscription that I have with them to find that a very recent collection was deleted as a result of a DV. I was hoping to get an alert for a score increase but according to Scorewatch my score hasn't changed in almost 2 months??? I have my score alert set to the same as my current score... I don't get it.

Hi JGWantsAHouse,
It's not necessary to post about the same issue multiple times. It's kind of like pushing the elevator button repeatedly.
Just so you know, the removal of a negative item doesn't automatically result in a score increase, as many here will (sadly) tell you. However, if it was a recent collection, the chances are good that its removal will bump your score up a bit. Also keep in mind that a score change alert can take up to 10 days following the change, so you may just not have received it yet.
Having said all that, I hope you get an alert soon showing a score increase!

Sorry about that, I thought that starting my own thread may get some sort of advice. I've spent all day waiting for an alert and I was hoping someone could explain if I was doing something wrong. I received a notice a day or so ago that my score has not changed but I also checked my report yesterday and the collection was deleted (although I'm not sure exactly what date it was deleted).
So you believe it may be another 10 days?

Instead of keeping you waiting, we've added a report to your Score Watch account that you can pull now to see your current score. Hope it's good news.

OMG! Thank you so much! My score went up 41pts!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I 'm doing my happy dance and I just wish I could kiss everyone who has helped me so far including you Barry.
I also didn't get an alert for a recent inquiry on my Equifax report?? And the inquiry was April 2. So it has had plenty of time. I see that a lot of people are not getting alerts. Is this going to be a recurring issue? I don't see why we should all be paying 15 dollars a month for nothing!

Sorry for the late reply, bearsfan34. It looks like you should have been alerted to that inquiry but were not. I've reported it to our tech team and have added a couple of free reports to your subscription: one to pull now so you can let me know if there are any other changes you haven't been alerted to, and one to pull at a later date of your choosing. Let me know if you find anything further that we need to investigate.

Thank you Barry. I just recently got an e-mail the 6th informing me of no changes. But with the new pull I discovered it didn't alert me of my score change and another inquiry from May 2. Do you know if they resolved the issue? Thank you for being so helpful.
I doubt they've resolved the issue this quickly, but they are looking into it along with other such issues. No ETA I'm afraid.
I was expecting an alert this week because I paid off two cards. No alert but I went ahead and paid for a new report any way. +14 FICO points. Then I get an email stating no alerts this week. Annoying!
