Mine is showing the last score which is correct.

No updates since 10/17, but a ton of stuff is being zero'd out over the next 10 days, and one new account should be showing, and also a authorized signor should be showing soon in a corporate account, so we'll see.

Hi Karatz...apparently this is just affecting some of us. It's frustrating, to say the least. I can't log in and see my EQ FICO on the log-in page. I have to go on a search for my most recent alert to see where my score is at.

Ya I understand. I'm watching this cause mine hasn't been updated in a while so I just wanted to double check that my settings are correct, etc, etc.

Seeing your problem, which I totally understand (previous years MCSE certified), you have a completely different issue. I'm having a similiar problem on my cell phone. My message history should be last message received from a person up on top. For some reason, some messages from this particular person keep registering as 11/27/08 date and a few days greater. I missed them all because they are way down underneith all the messages from this same person that actually have the correct date. Strange, but some explaining has to be done when you are ignoring someone for no apparent reason, LOL. -Just blame Bill Gates.

I would ask if you see the same exact problem on a computer you don't use to go here.

And speaking of the devil, I got an update by txt message this morning - first one ever. It's for a new account, but the statement date isn't till 11/17? No idea, lol, but it gave me 10 more points.

I think some new accounts report right after you open them, even if you don't have a balance yet.

I had a new account (PenFed VISA) that should have alerted. It never did. I recently got a notice that the balance increased on it....but it never did report as a new account. In looking at my alert history...there it is as an increased balance, but nowhere to be found under new accounts. Frustrating.

ScoreWatch is buggy. It doesn't always work right. I'm in the process of deciding if I want a refund on the annual membership and then just buy a score once in a while. It may be cheaper for me....and it will eliminate the frustration of things not alerting.

Congratulations on your 10 shiny brand new points!

Re: Something funky going on?

I noticed this when the thread first started and called customer service.  The guy I spoke with told me this is how it's supposed to work, that the new scores aren't supposed to be showing on the main page, just the Score Watch page.  I told him I thought it showed the updated scores on the main page and he told me that I was mistaken.  *shrug*.  I still think I'm right.

You are right. The updated scores were shown on the home page...and now they're not.

If you read through this thread, you will see that others had theirs change as well. It's not just us.

Re: Something funky going on?

There must be some sort of system change or malfunction because today I just received two alerts four minutes apart with the first one stating there was no change on my report to cause an alert and the second one said there was a decrease in my fico score.one thing I first noticed that when you receive an email on a score change, you can hover you browser and it would highlight the message with the score and the email would tell you your score with a + or - by it.

Today's email showed neither and I also noticed where the email was sent from a different department than my archived alerts I have on file. The two emails I received today came from the help@myfico.com  instead of from scorewatch@myfico.com so something definitely is amiss.

Re: Something funky going on?

Hi moonman,

I checked my husband's account today, and his home page FICO has also reverted back to when we pulled his original Scorewatch report upon subscribing. It no longer shows his updated FICO. We both have to click through to see our newest FICOs.

Maybe they have now changed the system permanently to work that way. When my home page reverted back to the older FICO score and date, I was told it would be addressed, but obviously it has not. If it's going to be that way going forward, I wish they would just tell us.

Is there a changed system or a broken system? I don't have a clue.

I will check my latest alert and see where it came from. I didn't notice a change.

hello LynetteM      I hope they did not change the system because I have been using my fico for three plus years and it was very convenient when you got a change in score it would always be current right in front of you(it even says your latest score at the top)without going through your fico page like i think they are trying to get you to do.

When i get a scorewatch email alert change the emai would say increase or decrease by 10 for example and by knowing my current score,i would know what my score is by deduction without having to log on right then and there. i've seen many good changes since i used my fico but this one might(if there is a change)may make me go  back to buying my scores every few months.

Re: Something funky going on?

Just to let you all know, we're continuing to investigate this issue. I don't have any answers yet as to the cause, but I can tell you that this was NOT an intentional change. I'll keep you posted as to what we find.

Thanks for your patience and understanding! Smiley Happy
