Hi All - Am getting ready to go close on my first house. YAY.
But the ? is - why no alert for the inquiry they do right before???????
Are you sure they pulled again? My lender didn't. Some do.
I just got told my LO that they did a "refresh" - so there wouldn't be an alert for that. Sorry!
If it's for a mortgage they wait 30 days before including them so they can count all the mortgage related inquiries as 1 for scoring purposes.

Hi kelli1970,
Just to clarify, while you're correct that the score doesn't count a mortgage inquiry for the first 30 days, and then treats multiple mortgage inquiries as one, the inquiries appear on the credit report immediately after being pulled.

I had my CU run our reports to get a loan - They used EQ. NO SCOREWATCH ALERT TO THE INQUIRY. Over 24 hours.
Booner, I never got an alert to the inquiry for my Capital One card. I used a score watch report to see it.
STILL NO ALERT FOR BANK INQUIRY ON EQUIFAX.

Toolie- It shouldn't happen that way. I shouldn't have to use a SW report to see an inquiry alert. This is not good. TWO DAYS NOW!
STILL no alert or SW email in weeks now. I think I am going to have to call the hotline or something. GGGRRRRR
