Why no Alerts?

I was having so much success with SW.  For a time, I could not even understand what people were fussing about.  I have the alerts set to email and text.  I had significant changes and score increases on my report an NO alerts.  The only way I can get my updated score is to pull a report every 10 days or so.  It is costing me a fortune!  Is anyone else experiencing this right now?  I have checked spam and even called my cell phone service provider.  Neither indicates any missed alerts.  What's going on?

Re: Why no Alerts?

Yep, same here.  I was excited and thought I had it fixed when the last call I made resulted in me finally getting my FIRST scorewatch alert, but nothing since and there have been changes. It's very disappointing. I signed up for the monthly plan which means I'm locked into 3 months before I can cancel. Otherwise I would have ditched it, it's worthless.

Re: Why no Alerts?

I did the $89.00 thing, I guess I can cancel, but then how would I ever get my true FICO scores?  Just seems like they should credit your account or give you free SP pull if the system is hosed for a bit.  Up until now I have been very pleased...now I don't know what to do.

Re: Why no Alerts?

I did get a free report last time I called, though I have paid for 4...2 before and 2 after because the SW isn't working. Everytime I pulled there WERE changes. You may want to call, maybe they will atleast give you a free report.

Re: Why no Alerts?

I have had to pull my reports for three months---and yes, very expensive!
Personally, I think they have it set up that way, because they know we 'need to know'.
I think I am going to cancel.

Re: Why no Alerts?

I have been going through a similar situation. I began disputing some things on my report and have only been alerted to my score going down. I've been watching my fico for about two weeks and the last update I receieved was over a week ago. Confused as to why I hadn't seen an improvement as negative stuff came off I purchsed a score report. My score went up almost 30 points, where was my alert???!!!!

Can someone please tell my why I was not alerted when I have the score watch.

Re: Why no Alerts?

I pulled my reports again.  More stuff updated.  More score increases and not a single alert since June 6th.  Barry, any way you can check this for me?  $90 is a lot to pay for something that is not working.

Re: Why no Alerts?

My score changed again, too...and no alert. The only alert I have ever received was on June 14th. I have wasted SO much $ on buying scores because of this.

Re: Why no Alerts?

Gosh... I'm glad I'm not the only one. I signed up on June 26th, and no alerts yet. As of today, I know (via True Credit) that EQ has made corrections to my CR... and still no alerts. I'm fighting off the urge to use up my other free report now... because I was saving that until all corrections have been made.

Meanwhile, it's driving me crazy not knowing. If this is the way it's going to work, (or, not work) I'm just going to cancel it. what's the difference if you must buy reports anyway.

Re: Why no Alerts?

I received some crazy email from Myfico saying that no activity had taken place since June 6th, the last alert I received.  Since June 6th, my score has increased twice, balances have been reduced, accounts added and collections removed.  I find this highly unacceptable to pay nearly $100 dollars for something that clearly is not working.  My reports are no doubt accessible to MyFico, it is more than OBVIOUS that there has been significant activity on my report.  I understand that sometimes things break or don't work, but geez, to blatantly insult my intelligence.......Really?
