When I went to Experian's website, the FICO 8 score they showed was higher than the one on MyFICO. I currently subscribe to the monthly 3 bureau monitoring. I paid off some credit cards about a week and a half ago, before they reported to the bureaus.
This morning, I pulled a free EQ credit report on annualcreditreport.com to see what the card balances looked like, and it does show a $0 balance for the cards I paid off, updated as of a few days ago.
Because I'm waiting to see if my FICO 5 will hit 650, I just bought the EQ 1 bureau report here for $15 or whatever, and now my EQ FICO 8 jumped a significant amount.
Since I'm subscribed to the 3 bureau monitoring, why did it take me ordering a credit report to see my FICO 8 update? Shouldn't it have updated on it's own?
It's tough to say. A new report always updates to the latest and greatest scores. Based on my experience you were right on the cusp of reporting to myFICO. My Discover and Home Depot are due the 7th of every month. New Home Depot statement is dated the 9th and Discover the 12th. I recieved Home Depot alerts TU 11th, EX and EQ 14th. First Discover alert (EX) came in today the 15th. Other two should pop in today and tomorrow.

@TheBrodster Thanks .. I'm just being impatient. I'm putting offers in on houses, and fully approved for an FHA loan. If my MMS hits 650, I can get a more favorable loan through my credit bureau.
Having paid down credit cards to be under 4% aggregate utilization, I'm chomping at the bit to see if I hit 650. I put an offer in on a house literally this morning, and if I hit 650 I need to hurry up and get the underwriting started with my CU. I can probably be approved for a higher loan amount, with a cash to close amount similar to the FHA loan.
My monthly 3 bureau reports won't update for 5 more days. This is killing me!
Sorry man. I've been in your shoes waiting. it's not easy. As you work your score up, you'll keep planning and forecasting more and more. It's quite fun and satisfying.
Here's to hoping it gets where you need to be for better amount and rate.
