No. You get your score once per quarter, though.

For those not in the midst of repair or obtaining a mortgage, it's more than sufficient.

I'd rather have the choice to pull my score when I know everything has reported for the month. Basically you're getting 4 pulls per year and you can't pick the dates.

Well, you get to pick the dates only insofar as you get to pick the date you sign up. Smiley Happy

Personally, I have enough tradelines that there's generally something changing every day, or at most every other day.

Re: myFICO® Identity Theft Security Deluxe

I set all my cards to cycle the first week of every month so I know when to look for changes. All my TL's report between the 29th-7th of every month. Lots of time spent watching the paint dry.

I think I will be getting it for self and DW in August/September - when everything has settled down.  I need to pull all 6 reports then anyway, and see where we are exactly.  Then just settle down for the long haul as everything ages, and check again in 6 months after a lot of birthdays have come and gone!

Re: myFICO® Identity Theft Security Deluxe

Sadly, the only monitoring going on with the myFICO® Identity Theft Security Deluxe product is every three months.  However, that is not really true monitoring.  A true monitoring product has a registration with the credit bureau program to receive an alert when something changes (probably implemented using database triggers).  In case of this product, there will be a myfico.com initiated soft pull every three months, on the clock - I am assuming it will be on time.  3 months IMHO is too long of a lapse and a lot can change if you have an active credit profile (or are the victim of ID theft).

This is basically identity theft insurance solution with the ability to get TU scores every 3 months, and at the rate of paying 3x the monthly fee it is about $13 per TU report+score (also, the $25 K id theft insurance).  However, for someone who needs a quick TU score, the $4.xx is a well spent investment.

You can cancel online by going to the Support section.  Here a simple search will allow you to fetch the "contact customer service" URL.  At that page, the drop-down inputs and radio buttons allow you to choose product and reason.  Customer support is very prompt (usually an hour or two).  Once canceled, your score and report disappear, so print if you need it.

You can cancel at any time, unlike Score Watch, which requires a 3-mo committment if paying month-to-month (although I don't understand how that can be enforced if someone refuses to pay).

Re: myFICO® Identity Theft Security Deluxe

I admit it's an imperfect product, but it does offer some extra doohickeys over buying the four reports/year individually.

As a warning, it's supposed to offer 20% discount on additional reports (and says that), but the actual discount percentage was recently changed to 10%. I mentioned this discrepancy privately, but haven't received word that it was fixed and haven't re-checked it in the last few weeks.

Have you addressed this with customer service?

Re: myFICO® Identity Theft Security Deluxe

What, and have them send my partial SSN and DOB in plain text again? (I never did get an answer to that question, either, so it really bugged me when I got a generic answer with the DOB and partial SSN AGAIN. Grrr.)

No.

I tried PM on the board.
