myFICO fail :(

I signed up for 3-bureau credit monitoring on 6/10 after having paid off a large credit card balance on 6/9. The myFICO initial credit report pull showed that EX reflected my new zero balance/score update, while neither EQ nor TU showed the update. I waited, and on 6/12 I received an email alert that EQ's score had updated to my new status. That was all reasonable. What's not reasonable, though, is that my TU score has still not alerted or updated as far as myFICO can see. Every time I've called myFICO CS about this matter they've told me to wait a few more days. The representative I spoke with today told me to wait an additional month. Really? A month more?? C'mon! That's absolutely ridiculous... if I want to apply for a loan or a mortgage, and I want to be certain that the lender sees my new zero balance from all 3 credit bureaus, I sure don't want to have to wait a month or more to do that because of myFICO's lag and inefficiency!

I've noticed that lots of myFICO customers using the support forums here have experienced similar alert/score update failures. I've also noticed that many of them have reported that when they called in to myFICO CS and explained their situations concerning the alert/update failures, the representatives speaking with them were often willing to provided them with coupon codes that would update their credit report (i.e., would initiate a new CR pull) and thus bring their scores up to date. Well, in my case the supervisor of the representative I spoke with today refused to supply me with such a coupon code (i.e., I was told "we have no coupon codes available for you"). Consequently, I have terminated my myFICO service and I don't plan to reactivate it in the future.

Now, I should also point out that I am sure TU updated my CR and score on or before 6/14. I know this because, on 6/14, I signed up with CreditKarma and their initial credit report pull showed that TU reflected my zero balance on the aforementioned credit card account. So if I had to rely solely upon myFICO, I would be waiting and waiting for an indefinite alert/score update, which would hinder my ability to apply for the loan that I'm seeking with knowledge that all three bureaus have logged my zero balance status prior to the time of application. I guess my point is that considering all of the complaints on this forum site about lagged or stalled credit scores through myFICO, and then thinking about my recent personal experience along the same lines, myFICO doesn't seem very useful to those of us who are seeking a loan or a mortgage as soon as possible. And to make matters worse, they don't seem very concerned about it Smiley Mad
