What am I supposed to do when the data myFICO is using to generate my scores is wrong but the data provided to myFICO by the credit bureaus is accurate? How do I compel myFICO to audit my account to make sure that what was provided by the credit bureaus is what myFICO used to compute my scores? For the monthly charge I pay for this service, myFICO cannot just absolve itself of any responsibility by laying the blame on the credit bureaus. That is unacceptable. It feels illegal and ripe for a lawsuit if their FICO scores they compute are based on errors they've made collating consumer data from the credit bureaus. I got nowhere with myFICO and was just told it was a credit bureau problem when I already knew it wasn't. I had verified Equifax data was accurate and that there was no dispute with them. Rather the dispute was with myFICO and I could clear as day see that on the myFICO site. About as unacceptable as it gets especially when I pay monthly for the access to see current reports and scores.
So are the Fico scores you're getting from MF different from those you're getting from other sources, such as directly from Experian, for example? If so, can you provide an example?
Its not about the scores.....the problem is there is no way apparently to dispute with MF that they are using the data from the bureaus accurately......I confirmed with Equifax separately I have 2 open revolving credit card accounts which is accurate......MF shows I have 4 open accounts which is not accurate......they are including 2 closed accounts and showing them as open and computing my total balance owed using the closed accounts which were charge offs......thats just inaccurate and they won't audit themselves to confirm......this makes the scores they compute wrong and if credit decisions are being made on wrong scores thats a problem - a huge problem....
