no SW alert after new account or decrease on my utility???

Hello myFico crew. I havent had an alert since 8/10 and i know it doesnt seem that long however since then a new account was added and i went from a 30% utility to about 1% and nothing has been updated. Also when i sign up for my yearly subscription to SW i only received 1 power report. Wasnt i suppose to receive 2. I dont know if it has to do with the time that i did my trial which was over 6 or 7 months before i payed my subscription.

When was the new account added? Do you know if it has posted to EQ yet?

There is always a delay of several days on any of the monitoring services --SW, TrueCredit, and the rest --between when the triggering event occurs and the alert goes out.

Re: no SW alert after new account or decrease on my utility???

What is the account? (AmEx credit card, new car loan, etc.)

Some new accounts report immediately --Bank of American and Barclays/Juniper are great about this --and others take what seems like forever, AmEx and HSBC being among the worst. Until your new creditor reports the new account to the credit bureaus, and until the credit bureaus add it to your reports, nothing will change with util and scores, and no alert can go out.

Re: no SW alert after new account or decrease on my utility???

its a CapOne....and what about my 2nd power report that i was suppose to get when i purchased? Because if its counting my trial then i should of receive my 2 new ones then since its already been over a year since i did my trial i think. EDIT: well actually its going to be a year in Sep 13. So with that been said i should expect 2 power reports then correct? Thanks for helping me by the way.

Re: no SW alert after new account or decrease on my utility???

When you first bought SW, you got a report then, right? Have you pulled another one? Does your screen say that you still have one?

The two reports include the one that you get immediately, plus one pre-paid that is waiting to be used.

You might need to call CS on Tuesday and see if they can determine anything on their end.

I *think* (just think) that Cap1 might be one of the poky ones, but I don't know for sure. Hoping someone else pops in on this--

Cap1 folks, how long does it usually take for a new card to show up on your reports?

edit to add: You might need to start a separate post, probably on Credit Cards, asking what the typical report time for a new Cap1 card is. There's not all that much traffic here on this forum. GL

Hi chekz....Looks like a free report was added to your SW subscription.  Let us know if that new CapOne is on your report after you pull it.

ok so i just gave in and ran it. Something is fishy with SW. My score was 665 and when i just ran my report it is now 682 with no update? whats up with that? And my PIF payments have yet to post either on my report so i expect it to go up anytime now.
