property report wrong-- how to correct?

Just ordered property report, which lists sale price when my home's previous owner defaulted, plus wrong room numbers. Same at county. Assume county is source of this error. How do I fix it? Do I need to get appraisal or assessment? We may sell in 2-3 years; better to wait for repricing? Thanks.

Hi poet,

Unfortunately, myFICO has no control over those property reports, but we've refunded the purchase price.  Sorry the report wasn't up to par.  Smiley Sad

Hey! That's what that tiny refund was! Barry, many thanks. I was completely baffled when I saw the credit to my account. How nice to deal with a company that doesn' need me to *ask* for a refund when the product falls short... I love myFICO (as you know) and hope that the property report folks figure out a solution soon.

This board has been THE best thing in helping me improve and maintain my credit.

Thanks again! Smiley Happy
