Oh, yes. It was paid in full and closed in 2003. I didn't realize the Chase was still reporting an outstanding balance until I pulled my CRs in 2005. I disputed with Chase and they updated my account PIF and added the descriptor. I thought it was a standard note from EQ for resolved disputes. ... View more

This account has an election of remedy descriptor that was placed on the account when I disputed inaccurate info on my CRs in 2005. EX and TR does not have the descriptor. Only EQ and I was told it wasn't coded as a derog until recently. I lost 30+ points. It turns out it's a EQ issue. Not MyFico. The CSR was very helpful. I didn't realize it was a negative annotation.
