Be happy that's the only 'subject to' requirement they hit you with, from what I've read in appraiser forums, some underwriters can be extremely unreasonable when reviewing appraisals, though luckily, that's pretty rare. I'm extremely happy that it's the only requirement. I was just puzzled as to why it would hold up my loan docs. The open area is unsightly. I suppose it looked like a safety hazard in the photos. I could've simply covered it or installed a cabinet. Thanks for the info.
