On 10/21/08, my EX score was 831. Here's my "Credit At-A-Glance" summary:
When I checked my EX score on 1/17/09, it was 842, an increase of 11 points. Here's the "Credit At-A-Glance" summary from that report:
The only difference is that my credit history aged from 29 to 30 years. Does Experian reward us at the 30-year mark?
Psychic,
That is quite an increase to an already impressive score. Congrats! I do believe that 842 is the highest i have seen on here (or anywhere for that matter).
Cheers
Thank you, cobaltnv!
I never expected to have a score that high!

Well, since my oldest account (AMEX) was opened 4/1/1982 perhaps in the summer of 2012 my EX will get a bump...
Same here HTSU. Dec 2019, my oldest will turn 30. And my oldest child will be 28. Wow!

I'll check back with my own update in 11 years, lol.
That's very interesting! I've never seen convincing evidence that history longer than 20 years is rewarded, until now.
Hello:
I was just flipping through the website and saw this forum. What are you doing--keeping track of ups and downs?
My scores in 2007 were TU-804; EQ-813; Ex 825. This month, 2009, they are TU-801; Eq-812; Ex-801. The change seemed to occur when I contacted my mortgage company for information on my mortgage. FICO listed this as 'applied for a loan.' bast----!! I have 29 accounts, never late, balance on only one account--mortgage. I only use a debit card for purchases. Even that small decrease above annoys me.
Cheers.
