Re: Chase Ink Plus vs Chase Ink Bold

APPLIED FOR BOTH THE BOLD AND THE INK PLUS (TOGETHER USING TWO WEB BROWSERS).

Got DECISION PENDING message for both:

Thank you for applying. Your application requires further review before making a decision.

Here's what you can expect:

  • Our goal is to notify you in writing within 10 days; however, in some circumstances it may take up to 30 days.
  • If you are approved, you will receive your card and other important information in the mail.
  • Please do not resubmit this application.

Should I call recon or just wait? And what are the chances they pulled my credit twice? I heard if you apply same day for same type of card from same lender its only one pull? HELP ME PLEASE!

Is it bad I applied for both?

Currently on hold and representative is looking over my application says it needs further review.

He noticed I had applied for both and said "ok". He seems nice.Still waiting on hold. My heart is jumping!

Are you on hold with underwriter or?

2 is not an issue, should be like Amex - 1 charge, 1 credit. (maybe more, but those 2 are common.

Not sure applying for both was a good move but time will tell. The two browser trick does not work for Chase. Yes, please call them when you can. I am sure they need to confirm some stuff and ask you questions about your business.

He said he won't be able to extend any business credit at this time due to the young age of my accounts.

Also he said they pulled the EX report twice, so two inquires. I definitely don't want to waste both those inquires. Is it possible to call again and have them reconsider??

I might also add, I would lead with okay if you can't extend credit, can you extend the Bold and set the internal limit low until my accounts age and I prove myself... I would be happy to build my internal limit over time... Sometimes Chase Reps understand that concept and some do not!
