Hey guys,
I have this card with a measly $2,600 since approved over a year ago. I see the credit limit increase within my online account. Is this a hard pull? Any suggestions on how to get this card raised up w/out a hard pull?

It starts off with soft pull but may turn into a hard pull. How come you didn't request a CLI within the first 6 months?
Good question.
How will I know if they pull a report though? All it says is that I'm giving CITI permission to obtain a report. I definitely don't want a hard pull.
Thanks,
UM

Unfortunately it's hard to tell these days with Citi...the only way to be safe is to have your EQ frozen
I'm hesitant to pull the trigger:
"By submitting this form you authorize Citibank, N.A. to check your credit history."

Do you have a lot of inquiries?
3 out of 4 of my cli requests via the citi luv button have been with soft pulls and instant.
Yep, way too many on Equifax so I won't chance it.
Just called in and spoke to an account manager.. Nice guy but there was nothing he can do. Said he's putting in an "investigation" and a request for a higher limit. We'll see where that goes.
The call wasn't a total waste because he did give me 0% APR for the next 8 months as a courtesy so I'll certainly take that.

Well if you have a lot then it won't hurt if you get one more with a CLI...the only reason I believe they would decline is if you have recent baddies or high balances
Not even one baddie and utilization is under 10%.
Maybe I'll roll the dice ...........
