Heh, that's what I have been doing. Figured they got the 3% fee upfront off of me, so I am riding it out and taking advantage. Two months to go, lol!
Wow..... what is going on? I've seen a few AA threads related to Barclay's. I just got in with them when I recon'd my JetBlue Mastercard application. I was so excited but now it seems I need to be careful. I recently took advantage of a 0% APR for 12 months BT that came with my new account. Now I'm wondering if that was a mistake.
Sorry this happened to you OP... thank you for sharing your story. Please keep us posted on their response.
Oh boy! Here comes Sir Barclays again with his AA striking cord! OP, sorry to hear that..
My experience so far has been pretty positive. But I did recently add a couple of accounts. This makes me wonder if they'll come after me. Lol! It doesn't matter if they do. Any company who wants to AA me for no reason can bite me. This is why I have more than one card.
Congratulations on the BofA increase! Nice to know they like someone.
So sorry DeeBee78 they done it like that to you.
It's exactly these kind of repeated experiences from Barclays on loyal cardholders that moved me to act quickly to close my acount with them.
Thank goodness i only ever had one card with that incompetent of an outfit and beat them to the punch.

Thanks for the data point on this popular subject, sorry they seem to be balance chasing you. Also, the more information you share the better we can develop a picture of Barclay's behavior and triggers. Factors like FICO scores, age of tradelines, total CLs, total balances (utilization %), amount of inquiries, any negatives, etc.
It can be helpful for people to compare their own credit profiles to those that experience AA, to assess their own potential risk.

I used my Barclaycard to purchase two iPhone 6S' and an iPad Pro last fall, an almost $3k charge on my $4450 limit. I've been paying it off in $200 a month chunks since last November, so the balance is down to less than $1500. It wil be paid off well before the deferred interest financing hits in April of 2017.
I logged into my account to setup my monthly payment, and see that my available credit is only $244, with a total limit of $1700. Looks like they might be starting to balance chase me
I sent them a secure message asking them why, but I don't expect anything other than a generic response.
In other news, Bank of America gave me a nice CLI on my BBR - I went from $500 to $2300. It was a HP, but I think it was worth it. Sucks I had to lose $2,750 of credit with Barclays, but at least BoA is being good to me.
Well.....Well BARFCLAY is at it again.
Sorry this happened to you and hope you get a reasonable answer and have the ability to get it straight before it affects you negatively. They represent the Good, the Bad and the Ugly when it comes to credit cards.
