Yeah, regular credit card like blue. Personally, recommend bce/bcp or Starwood. should have nice signup bonus on bce/bcp available. For you it's almost no brainer as the card will be backdated to opened in 1998 so your aaoa should be helped. Cli policy should help push your limits up. Once Amex card is high limit you can can chase for hp cli and see what they say.

So I applied for the AMEX BEC and said that my accounts needs further review and I will be notified 14 days in the mail. This means I was denied right? I wonder why though :/

Nah. Pretty common. Go google search Amex application status and check.

No, not necessarily.  I got that message and was approved when I checked the status of the application.  There's a way to check the status of your application online, search the Amex website for "application status" or such and you should find it.

Only way to find out your Credit Limit before getting the welcome kit is to call and ask.  Never hesitate to contact Amex customer service.  Nicest reps ever.

Yeah call for limit. Remember 61 days for first cli. Then you can thank me
