Score Rebound After App

Applied for two credit cards 11/14/12, below is the following detail 

American Express Blue - Approved ($4400)

Discover - Approved ($5500)

Equifax score from myfico.com (Discover Pulled) went from 763 to 755 = 8 point drop

Now today 11/21/12 I get an alert from score watch that my score rebounded to 771 it's now showing the Discover Card trade-line but  not showing the Amex yet. 

I can't believe how fast my score as rebounded Is this normal

Not sure what is normal.

I would assume that it is because your DTI is a low/better ratio. Your AAoA is not affected too much with the new card (Lots of old TLs?) And that you do not have many inquiries.

Yes you remembered that was really nice of you. Working hard on her score. Added her to all my cc as a AU(but keeping the cards in my wallet lol) I maybe figured it out my utizilation was 39% at the time of app now with the new card it's 23%

You are correct this is my first inquiry in a longtime. When I pulled my report before the app I had non.  So the helped also  let's see what happen when I get to Amex showing as I trade-line

Hope my score would rebound like that when all of my tradeline add up.....I also apps on 11/14 too. Did you receive your Amex card yet ???

No not yet, so i called them today and they said I should get it by on or before 11/29/14. I only got a letter today stating that I was approved and my credit score, the usual letter but now card.

its take them forever to issue a new card isnt it ? Especially to their CC.

I app on the same day for the Green Charge and receive it on Monday which is odd......

Wow yeah I made I vow which ever card came first ether the discover or Amex I would use more. Discover card won lol
