I know I'm super late in replying to this, but I was also looking for information re: Talbots on the forum, so wanted to be able to add something updated.
I love their fall line, and couldn't resist. I waited for a couple of cards to update with low balances for this month, and I just applied for the card in-store and was instantly approved for 2K (my highest store card limit). I'm not sure yet who they pulled, but it seems from what little I've read here that it's EX. Of course I don't know what my EX score is but I think I'm in the 680's (my EX and TU report are identical and that's my TU score). My util is a little high (probably around 45%).
