Wal-Mart Card Holders

I reading the Target Thread where certain members that where approved for the red card was approved to the Target Visa a few months later. So my question is has any of you Wal-Mart cards holders ever received a instant approval for a Discover Wal-Mart card.

The only thing my receipt shows are those stupid surveys that I hate. Please let me know if you come across anyone who gets one. I would like to know because I shop at walmart 3 times a day 7 days a week. They should just gift me one for my services or offer me a part time job.

I have a Sams Club card whch is about the same as Walmart.  About a year ago, it was close to being maxed out and when I went to use it, an instant approval for a Sams Discover card came up which I declined since I was still in DMP.  Now that I PIF each month, I never get the offer anymore.

Unless I am mistaken, I believe the only way to go from a WalMart card to the cobranded Discover card is to apply for it. I have seen a couple members post that before.

However, both cards are GEMB so there is the possibility that it could happen.

I dont think it upgrades--you have to apply I think......
