I just got a CLI from reactivating a Belden Jewlers card and they did a hard pull which lowered my EQ by 9 points according to SW.
I would like to do more CLIs but am concerned about hard pulls and score damage.
I heard BOFA does soft pulls - I have 2 of those and I have 1 Barclays and 1 TJ Max card all of which I would like to get a CLI.
How do hard pulls affect your score and when and how does your score correct?

My experience:
1. BOA on line, phone soft.
2. Citi on line soft, if form appears = hard.
3. Discover phone (1800discover, option 5) soft
4. Macy's phone soft (if at all)
5. Amex online, soft
6 GEMB (JCP, Walmart, PayPal Credit) on line, phone soft
7 PenFed if there is no preapproval, then hard
8 Chase won't say "Good morning" without pulling hard.

when they do a hard pull is it only reported on 1 CR?
So say if I did a Chase hard pull will it only affect my EX? and not TU or EQ?

The pull will only affect and show on the credit report/score they pull. If they pull EX, for example, it'll show on and affect only EX.
