as you all know, i recetly was approved for a zync and expecting a plum/platinum from my employer. so yesterday, accounting/hr signed me up for the plum through the company acct, and it was declined stating that the owner already has the zync and they cant issue another charge account. uhhhh.... the owner is a millionaire, she would care less to carry the zync and never have had one, and probably has the black. HR is on top of this but im wondering why they declined it? i told HR that i have the zync, hopefully this wont cause an issue with my expense acct for work, itd be very embarrassing. crap, as im typing, vp of sales just emailed me asking about the issue, yikesss!!!! gotta get back to work!
Hmmmm..... I don't know why they would say that, as one account is intended for personal use and the other is for business. Plus, other people have more than one charge product with them. Please keep us posted as to the outcome.
Does this company have any baddies? What's it credit score? Was it a FICO?
(Sorry, can't help it, coffee is kicking in)
company is a natiional company with 100 million dollars in sale annually, im sure there are no baddies on their record. HR did put my social on the authorized user app, vp of sales just told me that theyre on top of it, and amex prolly has a computer glitch, and to put my expenses thru my personal card and get reimbursed. HR will talk to amex today.

Sounds like it will all get straightened out. Good luck, and keep us posted.
thank you all! very embarrassing situation so far!
Naw, no need to be embarrassed. It is one thing to be disapprove for bad credit/poor debt management. Having an AMEX, regardless if it is a Zync or Plat still signal that you are in good standing.
Having a Zync is no reason to be embarassed! I had to wait until my credit was good enough and then *hoped* I'd be approved. Amex has high standards, and it's only here on the forum that it's discussed that it's an easier Amex to qualify for. But still... easier doesn't mean easy! I love giving cashiers my Zync! ![]()
