Opened Chase United mileageplus on 2/3/13, 50K bonus miles post on 4/4/13 statement, last statement generated on 1/4/14, stated AF would bill on 3/2/14 statement, called try to get AF waived or some retention miles, none were given.I closed the account shortly after that.
My question is when can I reapply this card to get the bonus again, which of the 3 dates above start the 24 month clock?

I believe its the date you receive the bonus so anytime after 4/4/15
OP: Yeah, just assume so to be safe
OP, just keep in mind.. Chase doesn't really like churning of cards for bonuses from some recent posts although not completly simliiar to your scenario..

thank you, i am aware of that
because i got UA and CSP about the same time, i put most spending on CSP in the past 2 years, so UA card hardly see daylight.
right now, i think i can put $25K/year non category spending on UA card to get 10K bonus miles, which is not bad deal.
Since i might reapply it, doing some homework before i do anything stupid.

24 months you should be good to go. Some of the recent AA posts out of Chase seem to have more going on than simple churning of cards so I wouldn't be too worried about it.
I agree, just throwing that out their if he wasn't following stuff recently is all.
While most of the recent shutdowns haven't been just a simple churning of cards, it does stand to reason that lenders are watching more closely. I'd question how important the bonus is to you, especially with Chase, you don't want to be shut down. Ultimately, it's your decision, and in theory they have the 24 month rule because they're willing to give you the bonus again after 24 months (as opposed to saying once per cardholder period), but it's not something I would try and milk.

I think the bigger problem is pumping and dumping. Where you open the card, put the min spend on it, collect bonus and then close it out immediately.
But getting the card every 26mos shouldn't be any problem with regular usage even if you close out before the first AF (2nd year) is due (If 1st year is free)
