First Victory!

I am really suprised how good getting my first instant approval felt!!  It was only a Walmart store card, and the limit is only $700, but it's my first instant approval since this process started!  (at least I'm guessing it's a store card and not a discover card)

I'm one step closer to prime-ville!

My EQ FICO is 666, my last TU FICO was 600, but that was a few months ago.  I'm not sure which Walmart pulled, I haven't gotten an alert yet.  I may have been able to get this card earlier, but I'm seriously application gun shy because of rejections in the past.

I dont blame you... just got approved for a BoA CC 3K 2.5 weeks ago. I dont have my FICO score but  my FAKO with USAA is EX 596 EQ 596 and TU 652 (was successful with getting 2 neg TLs removed by Cap1). I dont like rejections!!!

I may hold off with applying for 6months

Where did you pull your EQ and TU (Thanks for sharing)

how did you get your neg tl with cap1 ? Would you mind to share with other ? and pm me your method and email address or address if you have any...and Congrat to your new walmart card post

It was a PIF CO, I sent them an email and they called. Asked for additional info and a couple of days later stated they will delete the neg TL. Ill PM the email I sent the GW letter to

Sorry to bump. Hi AvaMommy! Would you mind sharing with me as well? I sent an email and got a call from the executive office and hey said thy cant do anything. So I sent another email and the same lady called back, but I couldn't call her back before she left for the day.

I pulled both FICO scores from this site.  While rebuilding, I am using the ScoreWatch product from here for the EQ Fico and the quarterly monitoring for the TU98 (I think) FICO.  This Walmart card will also give me access to a free monthly TU08 (I think) FICO, so that's good.  I also use the USAA Credit Monitoring Premium service that allows me to pull all 3 reports every day.  

My situation is definitely improving, but man it's hard to be patient!
