From what I've read, this company stinks for PFD letters... Is this one of those situations where I shouldn't waste my time with mailing it out, but maybe email instead?  Anybody have information on these guys?

Is the debt still within SOL?

PFD carries risks if still within SOL.  They dont have to even respond to a PFD request, and could instead view your conditional offer as an incentive to bring legal action for full recovery, with no acceptance of conditions.

But I'm going to PIF??  It's only 500 bucks... What are they going to sue me for if I'm offering it all?
