Hello, I have an checking account with BoA currently under NCO financial for collections. I recently called boa and was informed that NCO will be sending the account back to boa and being that NCO no longer will have any control or ownership over the account they must remove themselves from my credit report. Also, informed that if I wanted to make payment, then I would have to pay the bank directly.
Will NCO remove themselves from my account? Is there any truth at all to that story? Any steps I should take on my part to ensure that they are removed?
