Yes the credit agencies don't really report how good you are with money, it's just how you are with credit. I suppose from their perspective, they can't judge it unless they see how you use it. If you aren't using it, there isn't anything to judge. But you'll be fine 
what is probably more important is that you don't have anything bad on your reports. That means you'll be able to impact it positively by your own choosing instead of being hostage to your best reports
