Yes, call the creditor and ask.

Re: is it possible?

That's a good question and could be useful!

Suppose you closed out a CC account; later sent GW letters and they removed the baddies...  One could ask them to re-open the account and BAM -- instant good credit???

Tuscani, have you ever seen this happen?

Good luck!

Re: is it possible?

I could try it on a couple of accounts that have been closed nearly 10 years  :smileyvery-happy:

And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

Ha Ha Midnight,

I think there's a statute of limitations or something which would prevent that.... :smileyvery-happy:

Let me know how it works out...

Hi everyone, Patricia here.

Tuscani, did they do a regular inquiry or an account review inquiry?

Thank you

Re: is it possible?

DW has a Fashion Bug card from 1989, still open, and still on her CRs. She hasn't shopped there in probably 5 years, and I've kept on her butt to get the CC reopened. They said just come in the store, and show ID.

Calling her on it this weekend.
