Re: Ally prequal link??

I'm not endorsing any of these as some have crazy APR's but here are some I used not long ago when I was car shopping.

https://www.prosper.com/

https://www.upstart.com/funding_form

https://www.carvana.com/

https://www.lendingclub.com/apply/auto/identity

This link will also help you out but some of those in the list will do a hard pull so be careful.

Re: Ally prequal link??

I would recommend waiting a little farther from discharge date before purchasing a vehicle. If you can make it a year and improve your credit in the meantime, you will save yourself THOUSANDS in potential interest charges. Most captive lender's will not touch someone fresh out of BK without a year's worth of re-established credit. Just my recommendation, but to answer your question there are a slew of lender's that specialize in post-BK (even people currently in a CH7/13) such as CPS (Consumer Portfolio Services), Prestige, Flagship Credit Acceptance, and so on.

Re: Ally prequal link??

Thanks. I wish i could wait, but we are letting our other car go in bk and where we live there really isnt an option of public transportation and it snows for 5 or so montha of the year.beith three small kids in tow, walking across highways in snow every morning to get to school etc is just not an option. (School is about 5 miles away) doctor is about 20 and there are some health things that require us to go fairly frequently.

We did find a loan for a smaller vehicle with less gas mileage. Its a tighter fit but just fine, and we will be saving gas and insurance monthly. Will also put any tax refund we have towards principal when we get it to help pay it down and bump down how much interest accumulates.

Will look into refinancing in about 9 months to a year from what i read on here. I also plan on donating plasma on and off to help pay it down quicker as well. Smiley Happy
