Assistance Please!

Thinking of leasing a car at the end of the month. Thought about it and not really interested in buying at this time, would rather lease/rent for a couple years. This will be my first auto experience so a couple questions.

Is this a decent lease offer or should I continue searching? *see pic*

Is it likely the dealership will accept a credit card for the $1999 due or does it vary?

Really not sure what scores are considered top tier financing for autos. Im assuming Id be eligible for this offer at the lowest price but could be wrong.

Last I checked EX was 741, TU 745 and I dont keep up with EQ but Id guess around 730 since its usually always a little behind. Good enough or no?

100% perfect payments, 0 baddies on reports and 54k income.

Thanks all Smiley Happy

Re: Assistance Please!

I found this source for the relevant numbers to my particular car when I leased (for the first time in a long time) recently.

http://forums.edmunds.com/discussion/31863/mazda/mazda3/2015-mazda3-lease-questions/p7#latest

(Hope that's an ok link to post).

Start at the bottom and work your way up to see the most recent numbers. Or ask about the deal there.

ETA: And my recent experience (2 cars in the last 3 weeks) has been Audi (lease), no problem. Chevy (loan), no go. Chevy will take a card for anything extra I want that I don't want rolled into the loan, but not for the down payment. This was also at the end of two sessions with the finance manager where nothing was super easy. I wouldn't blame her for not accepting it just because she knew she didn't have to, or it may be their policy. Also it could be the policy on loans but not leases. She even said "I know, I know - people want the miles, but no." I corrected her that I wanted to use the card to meet a bonus spend requirement. LOL (by that time we were a bit punchy, but I just got my Ritz-Carlton card yesterday and would have LOVED to have put the down onto that.)

If that's a factory offer, not a dealer offer, you could call a couple Mazda dealers.

Re: Assistance Please!

@HF,

If this is your first lease, go to www.leaseguide.com to educate yourself properly on leasing if you have not done so already. I only lease and it has helped me tremendously every time.  I urge people not to put money down for leases but it is entirely up to you.

Re: Assistance Please!

My experience is many of the car brands will actually beat the national lease offers.

I would truecar price the car you want with the options you want and then through e-mail with who contacts you (your phone will literally ring within seconds!) I let it go to voicemail... I simply wait for the actual sales person to e-mail (not the automated email that comes first) and if they have the car with options that you picked out through true car and they give you the certificate I then e-mail and tell them to please send over the lease numbers on that with $1k down or $2k down, what ever it is you want to put down and say TOTAL, no additional down (meaning not $1k down plus taxes, license, fees, I mean $1k down period.

I want 10,12,15k miles on 36,39 months... whatever it is.

most dealerships have no issues sending back those numbers.
