Auto Loan help PLEASE!

Ok, so this is definitely NOT my area of expertise and I am not at all comfortable dealing with car salesmen, loans, etc.

I see MyFico offers auto enhanced scores but when I chose my plan I noticed that the only information I originally entered when I made an account was name and address. How can they pull my reports without a ss# and dob?

Fresh out of Bk7 January 2nd of this year. I only have a Self Lender, Credit One $700 and Cap1 $2000 (this is not showing on reports yet).

My stomach has been in knots because I do not know how to proceed. My 2006 VW has died and will cost so much to get fixed (thousands) that it's not worth it.

I turned in a leased VW last March (lease was up) but have 4 late payments now a year old, which were IIB but VW has YET to update stating bankruptcy at all on any of that account. What should I do about that? Leave it or get them to acknowledge IIB? Is that hurting or helping?

I can handle dealings in credit cards but not this at all!!!!

The one thing I would do is go to Capital One and get a preapproval for a car loan.  I did that and got a good rate and just bought a new/used car last week.  My rate was 4.01%, but will vary based on different results.  Good Luck...let me know how that works.

That's a negative. They (Cap1) said no. Were iib so was very surprised they even gave me a $2000 cc.
