Auto loan

Would it be better to try for a auto loan online with someone like capital one or Gmac, or go to a credit union, which one would give you less of a hard time........600 credit score.......bankruptcy 1 year ago...credit cards and auto loan  paid on time since bankruptcy......any suggestions?

Re: Auto loan

if you have reestablished since the BK, or have a current car loan, online may be an option.

if you have a current CU relationship that may be an option.

if you have not re-established credit, if you do no thave any major accounts working, then your best bet will be to secur e a 20-25% down payment for the transaction and go to to a dealership and work with their 'secondary" financing people.

remember any bank you took down in the BK will probably not do business with you.
