So I am trying to buy a Jeep Wrangler unlimited, but the issue is that it is a rock crawler with about 35k of parts on it. It is from a private party seller, and the price is 48k, but the book on it is between 28-30k depending on what you use. I have 13k to put towards the purchase and my annual income is about 97k, I have a credit score of 723 and a DTI of about 2 percent. I am just trying to figure out what my best option would be to buy this Jeep. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Can you get a personal loan for the other money? Some credit unions (Penfed, NFCU) will go more than loan value. Also as a Wrangler owner, I always heard that you can't expect to get anything extra out of accessories.
I figured that for the accessories. The only issue for a personal loan, is that the interest rates are terrible for the amount I would need.
I may sound like Dave Ramsey but you could pay off the loan in less than a year with that income and DTI.
