Thanks to all the great advice given in this forum I am now the proud owner of a new (used) car. With only 6 months of credit history on EX and EQ I'm glad they used my TU which has 4 years of history only because it lists an old, forgotten, never used account that is still reporting as current. Boy did my credit bureaus take a beating with all those HPs.
I ended up getting a 2017 Hyundai Elantra with 47,000 miles.
Approved with a TU Auto score of 679.
APR of 5.79%
Price of car was 12,800.
