Income

So, I've found out through research that most auto loan financing places do not count financial aid as income. No, I'm not talking about loans or money put towards paying tuition. Im talking about that in which is won or earned or grants in which don't need to be paid back. At the moment that is half my income. However, I can not find a concrete answer as to how much this matters. It is more than likely my income is sufficient. So, my question is what is the minimum income per month to qualify for financing/an auto loan?

Isn't financial aid supposed to be used for school or something else - like living expenses?

Is it a violation of your terms to use it for something like a vehicle loan?

Financial aid is not income and can't be counted on to replace income.

What is your actual income exclusive of financial aid?

Re: Income

Also there is no definitive amount in most cases. At least I don't think so. Many variables factor into the minimum income like the dealer, lender, the applicant, the credit profile, and the vehicle.

Re: Income

I was told $1500 to $2000/month minimum for a new car priced up to $18,000.
I've been where you are trying to go and I don't wanna go back.
