What score does Hyundai pull?

I have been reviewing posts but can't determine what scores they pull.  Does anyone know definitively whether it is a straight bureau score or an auto enhanced score and if so which?  Also wondering if this is decided by region...

Also, I would be interested in an experience people might have had recently to determine what scores qualified for which Tiers.

I texted a friend who sells Hyundai's, they pull Experian.  He's a salesperson and does not know anything specific other than that.

Thanks that narrows things a bit now it is whether it is auto enhanced or not. Thanks again

Re: What score does Hyundai pull?

this response is a little misleading--- many dealers will run your credit to shop your rate. In many places (like West coast) experian is widely used especially by credit unions (CUDL)-- Hyundai Finance their captive lender bases their rates on Transunion scores and data.  Hope this clarifies

Re: What score does Hyundai pull?

Here is my experience with Hyundai: I was told that HMF pulls Transunion, but that was not the case with me. Once the dealer submitted my app to HMF (7/06/15), they pulled my Equifax, which I had to unfreeze. A few days later, they pulled my TU. A day after that, they pulled my EX. It was the weirdest thing. I was finally approved and received my account number last Friday. YMMV, all of my Fico 08 Auto scores were low to mid 650's. Hope that helps. Good luck.

Current Scores: FICO08 670 EQ, FICO08 703 TU, FICO08 661 EX
Goal Score: 700's all 3 (07/2016)
Walmart $6k | Chevron $4k | Firestone $2.2k | Capital One Venture $5.4k | Quicksilver One MC $1.3k | Capital One Platinum MC $1k | Bloomingdales $12k | Amazon Prime $6k | Ebates Visa $12k | The Gap Visa $7k | Banana Republic Visa $7 | Brylane Home $2.6k | Express $2.5k | Overstock $1.85k | Macy's $11.3k | Stash Visa $12k | Lowe's $12k | Care Credit $5k | Macy's Amex $2.1k | Chase Amazon Visa $.5k | Cabela's Club Visa $2k

Re: What score does Hyundai pull?

I went to two different Hyundai dealers while trying to get the best deal available. I ended up doing apps at both (only because I thought I had the best deal at Dealer A but Dealer B said they could beat it and did). Dealer A showed me TU which also happened to be my lowest score of 718 and Dealer B showed me Experian. In either circumstance I was approved for the top rate.

That's the car I'm looking to buy in December. I  was looking at CPO Infinitis, but came across the Sonata with the same features for half the price. The wait is killing me.

Having owned both Infiniti and Hyundai i will caution you that comparing the two is apples and oranges.  If you are shopping just features fine but if you are looking at the overall driving experience the Hyundai won't compare.

Re: What score does Hyundai pull?

I am ABSOLUTELY in LOVE with my 2015 Sonata 2.0T!!! Smiley Very Happy  The polish, fit and finish, along with a list of features as long as my TWO arms, have made me a very HAPPY man. I get all the features of vehicles costing TWICE as much! The styling is more mature and upscale, less clownish in my opinion. The handling and power do what I need them to do and then some. It just feels much more substantial and solid. If you can hang on til December, you won't be disappointed......Smiley Wink
