I have been reviewing posts but can't determine what scores they pull. Does anyone know definitively whether it is a straight bureau score or an auto enhanced score and if so which? Also wondering if this is decided by region...
Also, I would be interested in an experience people might have had recently to determine what scores qualified for which Tiers.

I texted a friend who sells Hyundai's, they pull Experian. He's a salesperson and does not know anything specific other than that.
this response is a little misleading--- many dealers will run your credit to shop your rate. In many places (like West coast) experian is widely used especially by credit unions (CUDL)-- Hyundai Finance their captive lender bases their rates on Transunion scores and data. Hope this clarifies
Here is my experience with Hyundai: I was told that HMF pulls Transunion, but that was not the case with me. Once the dealer submitted my app to HMF (7/06/15), they pulled my Equifax, which I had to unfreeze. A few days later, they pulled my TU. A day after that, they pulled my EX. It was the weirdest thing. I was finally approved and received my account number last Friday. YMMV, all of my Fico 08 Auto scores were low to mid 650's. Hope that helps. Good luck.
Congrats!!!! I ultimately was approved for a 2015 Sonata Limited 2.0T in white. My rate turned out to be 1.128% for a 48 month lease. My first NEW car!!! I've always bought used.

That's the car I'm looking to buy in December. I was looking at CPO Infinitis, but came across the Sonata with the same features for half the price. The wait is killing me.

Having owned both Infiniti and Hyundai i will caution you that comparing the two is apples and oranges. If you are shopping just features fine but if you are looking at the overall driving experience the Hyundai won't compare.
I am ABSOLUTELY in LOVE with my 2015 Sonata 2.0T!!! The polish, fit and finish, along with a list of features as long as my TWO arms, have made me a very HAPPY man. I get all the features of vehicles costing TWICE as much! The styling is more mature and upscale, less clownish in my opinion. The handling and power do what I need them to do and then some. It just feels much more substantial and solid. If you can hang on til December, you won't be disappointed......
