Honestly I don't know with their current offerings if I want them back or how they'd fit into my needs....everyone's different but I've been able to put together a portfolio around them and Chase that work for me
Verizon Visa (works for me) 4% Grocery (uncapped) 4% Gas (uncapped), WF Active Cash 2%, NFCU Flagship 3% travel & 2% other, Ally 3% Drugstore, USB Cash + 5% Utilities, USB Alt Go 4% Dining...I have a lifetime SkyClub membership so not sure what else AmEx could bring me
