I'm looking to regain my capital one card back. I was just wondering how gracious they are in providing you another card if you included a previous card in a BK. BK was discharged recently (on 9/1/15). I attempted to app with them a day ago and and was denied based on this decision:
The reason(s) for our decision are: • Based on your application information, there are too many delinquent past or present Capital One credit obligation(s)
Should I wait a month or two and try again or would it be better just to voluntarily pay the balance on the old card before trying to app with them again. The old card had a small balance about $300 dollars.

Got mine about 1 month after BK, my husband 2 weeks....please keep trying the pre-qualifier ...My husband did this until he got a pre approval. His Cap 1 QS card to hit two months and he was approved for a Sony $750 CL. His bk was discharge in August, but remember it must hit the credit bureaus...maybe your is not on your credit report yet reporting as "discharged".
