Chapter 7 - Collections IIB

Attempted to find an answer on the boards with no luck.

Chapter 7 is filed / 341 and awaiting discharge....checking my accounts and most are already reporting included in BK

including 2 medical collections.  I am paying for myfico monitoring/scores and the report shows IIB but still listed as a

collection account with 0 balance.

So my question is, how is my score affected with collections showing even though IIB.  They are $539 and $296 so I suppose I could pay

them and ask for PFD, but will this make a difference enough on my scores or should I just let it be and rebuild.

Thanks

Hold off and wait until after DC. CA's usually delete because they cant collect any longer in most cases.

Re: Chapter 7 - Collections IIB

Do not pay those!  You can easily have them deleted. I did that on a few of DH's collections and they were gone immediately. I just told them they were IIB and thought they'd just update that on the credit reports, but they deleted them instead.

@Anonymous , can you please use a different color other than the bright hot pink/purple you're using? Its very hard on the eyes against the bright white background, thank you.
