Current Status - Post Bk7

Hi everyone

My ch7 was discharged back in early November 2021. I was able to get a CapOne QSOne with a $3K limit, PayPal Credit with $2.5K and an Ollo card with $1K limit. I was curious as to next steps really, I was added to 2 CapOne cards as AU's as well. Should I just let these grow for a while? I was dead set on getting in with PenFed but I think I'll let these accounts grow for a while.

It would be best to garden for a while. Three accounts in 2 months need to age some. You got the 3 cards FICO likes. Any loans at the moment? If not. NFCU and PENFED have the SSL.

No loans quite yet. I need to figure that out. That's the angle with PenFed that I was looking into.

I would let the accounts age as the above post mentions. I've seen post on here of individuals getting in as soon as 6 months post DC with PenFed and I've seen people post declines a few years post DC. Utilize the accounts you currently have PIF each month if you'd like to USE AZEO leave a small balance in one to report each month. if you haven't done so make sure you open your savings with PenFed and throw a few bucks in there. I have similar trade lines as you. Post DC opened a Capone QS 3k limit, PayPal credit 2,250, and Mercury MC 1,750. I'm going to let them age and give PenFed a go

xgac12x,

Personally I think you need to let your credit cards age and build up some positive payment history.  I would not even think about applying for another credit card until after you after 12 months of positive history on your CR's. If you don't have a loan yet, look at Penfed.

Keep on doing what you're doing and that FICO score will climb!
