Re: Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) After Including in Bankruptcy - Data Point
@AlmostCreditGenius
Another thing to point out is that Navy Federal has a seasoning requirement for bankruptcies. I no longer work there, but I believe it's 4 years post-discharge for mortgage loan applications, regardless of what type of mortgage (VA vs. conventional). Check with your loan officer prior to submitting an application.

I have since applied for an $80,000 car loan and was approved @ 3.03% interest.
I still haven’t tried the refinance of my mortgage but I am hopeful.

Re: Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) After Including in Bankruptcy - Data Point
You my friend have given me hope. I am also not able to get products with them bc I had caused them a loss (a difference of about 400 dollars after settling and paying) but because they have not been paid in full I suppose, I am still blacklisted. I still have a savings account, and was even able to open a checking at one point (which they in turn closed). Upon inquiring about a credit card they told me that I was not elegible for any products. I am in the market for a new mortgage and will call them next business day to see if I am now able (thanks to your post, I now have hope). I will update if it is possible
