Havent filed yet. Tried to open an acct(checkings and savings) on line but was denied for

current address change history

no evidence of asset ownership

dda closure payment history

used chex systems which I believe that I am on..

I also applied for a Credit Union checking account before filing and was denied due to my CS being too low. I haven't bothered again since my reports and CS have gotten worse. But I haven't seen the need to join one yet. Will probably try again in 6 months.

Yeah I read about them on here but that's why I think when sharing people should share where they were pre/post/at the time of applying when sharing info and success

Before my BK I was with Chase. The same month I filed I opened an account with NFCU in preperation. CU's tend to care more about CS than your big banks

Agreed! You have NFCU on the back burner for after BK so just find something to hold you over
